Sylvia Dion joined DDW as a Promotions Committee volunteer in 2019 and became a Board member in 2023. Since then, she has been involved in Run the River, the Gala, and Valley Square Concert Series. Sylvia is a Change Agent at New York Life where she guides employees to transform their process improvement ideas into actionable solutions.
Sylvia chose to live in Westbrook after leaving the state for a short time. She appreciates how open and welcoming the community is and enjoys being involved in promoting Westbrook as a great place to live and work. Sylvia lives in Westbrook with her husband and dog, and when she has some free time, she enjoys experimenting with gluten and dairy-free recipes, hosting parties, exercising, and going to live music events.
