We have moved! The office is now located at 752 Main Street, in the Emerald Management office across from My Place Teen Center. If you visit, go up the front porch on Main Street, and use the right hand door (our logo is on the storm door!). If the door is open, come on in! You can always contact our director to set up a meeting time, too.

Abigail Cioffi is the executive director of Discover Downtown Westbrook, and has been working for the organization since November 2014. She received her BA in History and her MA in Public History from West Virginia University. In graduate school, she learned about the National Main Street Center, historic preservation, and community engagement. One of her professors was a former Main Street director, and Abigail did her graduate internship at a Main Street program in her hometown of Charleston, WV. When she moved to Maine in May 2014, she quickly joined the Design Committee for the Heart of Biddeford, a Main Street program that was founded in 2004, and served as co-chair of that committee. She learned about the new downtown Westbrook organization from the director of the Heart of Biddeford, and as soon as she saw an aerial view of downtown Westbrook, she knew she had to get the job.
Abigail loves working in such an incredibly inclusive, creative community with so much potential. From the beautiful river flowing through the downtown to gorgeous historic structures like the Walker Memorial Library to fun community events, Westbrook is an incredibly special place filled with people who love it and want to see it thrive. Abigail is thrilled to have such amazing support from the city and many people excited for all the great things to come. In her free time, Abigail loves to read, hike, bake, and hang out with her partner Joshua and their two cats.
